Looking for an experience to connect with nature while learning more about regeneration?

Join us at Quinta da Carvalheira for a day in the Portuguese countryside to have a learning experience that connects theoretical, intuitive and practical knowledge in a dynamic and fun way! We will start by walking around the land and learn how to read the natural dynamics of the forest. We will also collect cuttings that we will later use to create "syntropic nests". These "nests" are a consortium of plants (trees, shrubs, flowers and vegetables) to form an “island” of fertility - you will later understand how exactly it works.

The syntropic agriculture practice follows the natural dynamics of the ecosystem and aims to create forests. During this day we will restore the soil by planting with density and diversity. This approach improves the sustainability of food production and maintenance of natural resources from small gardens to farms.

By the end of the day, you will be able to design and implement your own "syntropic nest" while understanding the natural dynamic of the ecosystem.

*Micael Silva* loves to share his knowledge about plants, ecosystem vision, landscape reading and the relationship between man and nature. He believes that we can create a better world: more diverse, abundant and resilient. His ecosystem vision integrates the bases of permaculture, syntropic agriculture and wild agriculture. He is the founder of @dobosqueprojeto and has been working in the field since 2018 while sharing his knowledge and active hope for regenerating healthy ecosystems.

*Simone Marinho* is an eco-chef in regenerative permaculinary with a focus on vegetarian food to promote our health and the planet. Her delicious meals generate only organic waste which goes directly to our compost pile! She is a woman medicine who connects food with emotional and spiritual healing.

*Inês Cunha* is the founder of Quinta da Carvalheira which is the learning and regeneration center where you will spend the day. She is a professional coach and soft skills trainer with experience working in behavioral skills development through non-formal and disruptive methods. Recently she has started to explore the impact of immersion in Nature, both in terms of managing emotions and the possibility of inner reconnection; this was her main purpose to give a new life to Quinta da Carvalheira.

<< Quinta da Carvalheira >> is a learning and regeneration center where we colive and create learning experiences together. Quinta da Carvalheira is a very old and traditional farm from the 17th century that was abandoned for 30 years. We started by regenerating the space following permaculture principles while giving a new life and purpose to it. At the same time, we are also regenerating the rural local community by creating activities that connect people with themselves, with each other and with Nature.
