3 Lakes. 3 Days. 3000 Trees. Countless laughs. One Love.

We will gather at the Idyll Community Project between November 29th and December 1st to plant this year’s dose of regenerative magic.
All are welcome, for any number of days or hours, we welcome every contribution to the collective. Following this simply rhyme:
There is no price to pay, 
only 30 trees to plant each day,
then you’ll receive our rustic hospitali-tay.

We are progressively regenerating our Alentejo cork farm, making it more resilient to the future we all face. Last year we built two lakes and planted 1000 trees, this year is even more ambitious and we need even more community. Come on Down!
Attendees will learn about local ecology and regenerative system design from our renowned master Maurício and will have the chance to plant up to 100 different species of tree, bush, and shrub. Learning about each and its place in the greater system.

Everyone can also plant their own tree, saved and geo-located, and earn the eternal right to sleep beneath its branches and harvest its fruits - should they so chose.

Hearty farm food and wine will be provided to all those who plant, Porco Preto BBQ and Make-your-own Pizza nights are planned, all washed down with Alentejo’s finest grape juice.

You’ll be entertained by evening concerts under the corks & morning breathwork sessions to get you firing on all cylinders.

Key Details
Cryptic invites are all well and good, but here’s what you really need to know:
Vibe: All welcome... All mucking in together - there’ll be a couple of spritely grandmothers, the best of Lisbon’s club scene, a fair few burners, a few babbling babes, the inevitable crypto-bros - the full spectrum.

Dates: Friday Nov 29th - Sunday Dec 1st are the three main planting days. Some international guests will arrive on Thursday night - you are more than welcome to too. You can turn up and leave at any point along the weekend to fit in with the rest of your life.

Timings: BREATH from 8, Farm breakfast from 8.30, planting at 10, a lunch around 1, hang up the gloves at 4.30 ish, enjoy the sunset, dinner and entertainment till crash. Friday night BBQ, Saturday night pizza party.

Travel: Driving is easiest if available. We will set up a carpool whatsapp group, but fundamentally it's up to you to get down there... There’s also an easy 1 hour train from Lisbon to Grandola, and we will fix free pick-up / drop- off at the station as needed.

Accommodation: You can easily come just for the day from Lisbon, but nights will be more fun and think of how many trees can be planted and how much more root chakra repair can be completed over a couple of days.
We’ve booked two nearby villas for our guests 50 euros per person per night in a suitably shared bedroom, or your own double bed for 100 euros, You can camp / hammock on the land for free, there’s also floor space indoors in the two basic houses to set up an airbed / roll mat etc. It all depends on how much luxury you need!!!
